Bank-Isolated Multifunction Architecture
The PXI-6233 separates its field I/O circuitry from the PXI computer system through bank isolation. This architecture helps protect measurement signals from ground loops, electrical noise and moderate ground-potential differences.
Bank isolation does not mean that every individual channel is isolated from every other channel. Channels within the same functional bank share a reference, while the complete bank is isolated from other specified sections and the PXI bus.
